Plants respond to fertilizing
I use the nelson fertilizer for all annuals, pansies especially. I like this over the osmocote for pansies because Nelson's color star is water activated and osmocote is heat activated.
Plant food makes flowers grow quickly and colors "pop" almost immediately!
