NutriStar Palm & Ornamental Grasses Plant Food features an NPK analysis of 11-4-6 and is specially formulated to support healthy palms and ornamental grasses. With 90% slow-release nitrogen, this granular fertilizer provides steady nutrition over time to encourage strong growth and vibrant foliage.
The formula also contains 17% elemental sulfur, which helps improve nutrient availability and supports a slightly acidic soil environment preferred by many palms. Nutrients are released gradually through natural microbial activity in the soil, helping plants absorb what they need when they need it.
This low-salt formulation is gentle on roots and ideal for a wide variety of plants, including bananas, Canary Island palms, fishtail palms, Mediterranean fan palms, Mexican fan palms, palmettos, pampas grass, and sago palms. NutriStar Palm provides an immediate boost at application while continuing to feed plants for long-lasting results.
Features: 90% slow-release Nitrogen Elemental Sulfur to enhance nutrient availability Low-salt, acidic food for all types of palms and ornamental grasses Use microbial action to slowly release nutrients

I've been using this fertilizer for over 10 years. My queen palms have grown big and beautiful since using. I also use the other blends for our citrus trees. And the same results.
Plants respond to fertilizing
I use the nelson fertilizer for all annuals, pansies especially. I like this over the osmocote for pansies because Nelson's color star is water activated and osmocote is heat activated.
Plant food makes flowers grow quickly and colors "pop" almost immediately!
