I had some succulents that were just not looking so good at all. They are in the office and the light is just terrible. They needed fertilizing and nutrients. They went from almost yellow back to their wonderful healthy green. I'm glad I have this. I have a ton of plants to use it on. It's a good value and you really don't use a lot or often so it will last a good long time.
I have a sizable collection of cacti and succulents, but have never used any specific fertilizer on them. I noticed that they could use some extra nutrients to help them thrive, so I decided to give this plant food a try. To my pleasant surprise, the plant food is also compatible with my collection of snake plants, which I hadn't anticipated. The instructions for the fertilizer are sufficient, but I think they could be improved with a bit more detail. The instructions suggest fertilizing during the plant's growing season and provide a list of compatible plants. However, it would be helpful if the instructions listed the specific growing season for each plant. I've come across other fertilizer brands that go into great detail on this subject, so I believe it's possible to include this information.I appreciate the sturdy and easy-to-hold container. The side grips make it effortless to hold, even with my small hands, and the wide lid makes it simple to scoop out the desired amount of fertilizer. Since this product is not in liquid form, I can store it in my potting shed during the hot summer months in Florida without worrying about the temperature affecting the contents. So far, I have used this fertilizer on over 20 plants without any issues. None of my plants have shown any signs of damage or adverse effects. Overall, I am satisfied with this fertilizer and would recommend it to other plant enthusiasts looking to give their cacti, succulents, and snake plants a nutrient boost.
I have the 2 lb container and I really think this will last forever. For potted plants, it says to use 2 tsp if pot is a one gallon size. I have several aloe plants and a cactus in small pots, so I only use about 1/4 of that amount for each plant. The directions say to use this every other month during growing season, so I can't imagine that I'll ever run out. Since I just started using this, I can't really say how well it works, but I see no reason why it wouldn't since it has four sources of nitrogen.
My succulents suffer in the winter, so I’m excited to give them a bit of nourishment! I’m hopeful this will help them get over the winter blues! No odor or funky smell! Easy to use! I will update with a full review in approximately 30 days!
I added this to many of my cactus and succulents. So far so good. No decline in the plants but only time will tell if it does anything to support growth
