Fall Landscapes

Happy almost fall from the landscape team at Nelson Plant Food!We’re excited to share some updates, as Shelby Dovzak from our retail division is joining us in our landscaping division. Our team is here to make sure you have the support and nutrition you need to keep your plants looking their best!

Another fall means another application of our TurfStar Carb-o-load to prevent cool-season weeds and give your lawn the nutrition it needs as it heads into winter dormancy. It is the perfect complement to our spring lawn fertilizer with post-emergent herbicides, providing two methods of control for those pesky weeds. 

A fall favorite from our preset blends that you’re probably familiar with is our ColorStar for All Flowering Plants. We now offer additional active ingredients on our ColorStar line, including fungicides and/or insecticides, to reduce labor and save time. As always, if you’re looking for something tailored especially for your lawn, we can custom blend a fertility program to create solutions designed specifically for your soil, plants, and goals.
