Looking Forward to Fall

I’ve enjoyed having the opportunity to see everyone at the shows this past month, and am looking forward to a prosperous fall together. As our summer in the South starts to cool down (hopefully soon), it will be a great time for an application of Carb-o-load, our fall blend from the TurfStar line. We are excited for another season with our newest successful line of lawn fertilizers that last up to 6 months. Carb-o-load contains a pre-emergent herbicide to prevent winter weed seeds from germinating and emerging in the spring, making it a perfect addition to your clients’ lawn maintenance schedule. Our high potassium formula strengthens roots to aid in proper dormancy into the winter, without fillers or nonessential nitrogen. This fertilizer and pre-emergent herbicide combination at this time of the year ensures lawn revitalization when the temperatures warm back up in the spring. 

Thankfully, we have enjoyed a relatively wet summer which could lead to continued moisture into the fall. Our ColorStar Plus utilizes our renowned formula for flowering plants with an addition of a preventative fungicide. This fertilizer is a favorite that can cut down on labor by providing 2-in-1 benefits to your plants that last for 3-4 months. 

Finally, fall gardening can use some help with our NutriStar Genesis Transplant Mix and Vegetable Garden fertilizers. Genesis contains beneficial microorganisms to kickstart your soil microbiome and reduce transplant shock. It is our newest addition to the NutriStar line that can be used on all plants to aid in relocating starts, seeds, plugs, or mature plants. Our NutriStar Vegetable Garden blend can be used in combination with Genesis and is a great option to topdress in containers, beds, or in-ground gardens. An application will replenish nutrients lost over many seasons of growing plants and provide higher yields.
