No two nurseries are alike. At Nelson, we visit your nursery, talk to your people, learn about your management practices, study your environmental conditions, and conduct soil, water and tissue tests to determine your plants' nutritional needs.
Pre-formulated blends and custom blends are always fresh.
Nelson Plant Food can provide both pre-formulated fertilizer blends and custom blended fertilizers made to meet a grower's specifications. Following our "fresh is best" policy, both standard blends and custom blend are made fresh for each customer right here in our Bellville, Texas manufacturing plant.
Pre-plant mixes and top-dress fertilizers.
Pre-mixes that will be blended into your soil media can be delivered directly to your nursery or to your soil provider. To insure a perfect combination between fertilization and equipment calibration, we are available to consult with you and your team. For top-dress fertilizers, we work with your field crew to make sure that the right amount of fertilizer is getting to each plant.
Our fertilizers are 100 percent fertilizer.
Many fertilizer manufacturers bulk up their products with fillers and add weight, not value. But at Nelson Plant Food, all our fertilizers are filler-free. We put 100 percent usable fertilizer in every order.
