NutriStar For Tropical and Perennial Hibiscus is a higher potassium fertilizer that is essential for good Hibiscus health and bloom. This formula contains potassium nitrate, ureaform, monoammonium phosphate, ammonium sulfate, activated sludge, potassium sulfate, cottonseed meal, ferrous sulfate, magnesium sulfate, calcium sulfate, sulfur, zinc sulfate, manganese sulfate, copper sulfate iron oxysulfate, magnesium oxide.

Top Dressing Container Grown Plants

Apply NutriStar for Hibiscus at the following rates:

Apply over the entire surface of the growing media and water in thoroughly.

Top Dressing Plants in the Landscape

Apply NutriStar for Hibiscus around single plants at a rate of twice that shown for each size of plant. For plants growing in a bedded environment, apply NutriStar at a rate of three pounds per hundred square feet per month.

NutriStar is a blend of nutrients especially designed to support rapid growth and greater bloom production. Supplemental nutrients are supplied to the plant by microbial breakdown for up to five months. NutriStar in non-leaching and will not burn plants. NutriStar is highly effective both indoors and outdoors.

Incorporating NutriStar in Planting Mix

Incorporate NutriStar for Hibiscus at a rate of 15 pounds per cubic yard of mix. Transplant as normal. Water thoroughly. Repeat applications every 30 days during growing season.
